Over Rated/Under Rated/Ratings and you!

Hey guys, we're almost a month and half into the NBA Season and we've had some interesting ratings movement and in some cases, lack of movement.

I'm looking for feedback on what you guys think to be moved. We have a great group here and the discussion should be fun!

The type of feedback I'm looking for is general not specific. The reason is that your definition of a 87 Steal is not the same as mine or WTF's or Tonyattia's.

So, an example of the type of feedback is "Jimmy Butler should be higher, better than Lance Stephenson" (Which he should)

NOT: "Jimmy Butler should be an 85, Stephenson an 82 and Kobe an 86." This type of detail will make it difficult to move the conversation forward since there will be a lot to cover, I'm sure.

Does this sound good? If so, lets get this party started.

Helps that DD is out ;-)

seriously though Lowry has gotta be a lock for all-star...at this point anyways

I know this is a broad statement but the 3pt % has to go down across the board...every player!

Re: Over Rated/Under Rated/Ratings and you!

If the ratings actually effect gameplay then this thread would be awesome but if we are just changing numbers to increase or decrease the overall rating of a player per say then really I don't think this thread is needed.

For example if the actual ratings change doesn't effect a player shooting a 3 point shot (miss/make) or his ability to make a specific pass (lop/alley oop) then ratings become irrelevant and guys will use this thread only to debate who should be higher in want area without it really mattering on the floor.

That's just my 2-cents Fernando

Appreciate all the feedback you provide

Over Rated/Under Rated/Ratings and you!

Well I terms of overall ratings, I'm not sure Carmelo, Joakim Noah, or Blake are better than Anthony Davis. Iguodala, Bledsoe, lance, and Lawson are all overrated to me.

The obvious underrated one is jimmy butler but I have a few others. Draymond green, and Jared sullinger seem to be underrated in their 3pt abilities. Donatas Motiejunas (who is left handed in real life but right handed in game) is playing really well for Houston while Dwight and Terrence jones recover from injuries. Monta Ellis is beasting and needs a bump and Austin rivers is underated in my opinion. Also Giannis is having a really good year.

My biggest gripes have to do with the speed ratings. For instance kevin love an Carmelo are one point apart? Mike Conley and j crossover are also slow in game. Besides that and a few pass and shot block inconsistencies the ratings look really good to me.

100% true, unfortunately.

The ratings, literally, don't matter. You can dunk like MJ with with Kyle Korver and block shots like you are David Robinson in his prime with Dirk.

Re: Over Rated/Under Rated/Ratings and you!

Dirk went big shot hunting against me last night.. Ended the game with 3-4 mutumbo like blocks. And Toby parker isn't that real behind the three point line is he? For the first time I really felt like the game was just overly cheating the three point line. It's like it doesn't want to just shoot it right in your face so he was running around like a chicken with it head cut off, then the instant I begin to play catch up he put up shots and started draining everything

Great question play I'd also like to add to this question but I bet it's going to be glazed over by Fernando as all the other questions in regards to animations being affected by player ratings always are
