Setting the ref

Is there a way in 15 to set a strict ref? I know that in years past you could do that but I am not finding it. If anyone knows how to do this for this years game that would be great because I would like more fouls called.

Thanks

Re: Setting the ref

You mean in career mode or just play now games? If its career mode you cant set the ref in play now and have it carry over to career mode. What I do is I go to the referee database thread and when I play a game, I check that refs qualities. If he is balanced or tolerate I back out then go back in until I find a ref that is at least strict in one of the areas.

Re: Setting the ref

When you get to the screen with team management, game settings, goal news etc the name of the ref is at top of screen. If you back out of that screen back to the controller select screen and then go forward again you may (not always) see a different ref. Just keep doing that until you get the ref you want. There is a thread on here with a list of all the refs and their strictness. Depends what league you are playing in as to which refs you can get though

Re: Setting the ref

I didn't know you could back out like that and get another ref sometimes. Thanks. I've been playing with Leeds United in a career and we get the referee Ian Lowcroft for 80% of our games. Slightly annoying and unrealistic.

Here's the thread. Didn't realize there were this many refs! I guess with so many leagues, tho, it makes sense. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-database.html
