Where is the next Patch?

I've been patiently waiting but it seems this next patch is long overdue. It didn't take this long for a patch to come out for 2k14. 2k14 next gen came out the 17th of November and the patch came out the 19th of December. This game has been out since October 7th and nothing but a patch to fix connectivity issues. What could be the hold up?

I'm more so worried about how long it will take to get approved once it is turned into Microsoft and Sony, but hopefully this long wait means they are fine tuning a lot of issues.

I feel like I'm waiting for 2k15 to come out all over again... And that's not a good thing.

I haven't touched it since I read the patch is "BIG". LD2K said that about 3 weeks ago. I don't want to rush them but I hate when the patch takes long then have to wait for MS and Sony to approve it. Tired of patches for games. Just want a complete game for once.

I remember Microsoft saying with the new technology that NG brings patches would get approved faster. Do they I haven't paid attention.

Microsoft said a lot of things before the Xbox came out, and most of them disappeared when they got rid of the always online aspect

Yeah, whenever a game comes out now, I have to remind myself that it will most likely be 2 months or more before any serious career, franchise, etc can be played. Pretty sad but it is reality.

I'm worried about any patch. Things are running fairly smooth right now after losing my original My Career, I've invested in multiple Careers that are fairly well along and I worry about losing them cause I did last year. Fingers crossed that all goes well. Just do it right.
