How do you play a ranked match?

I am on Xbox One and for the life of me can't figure this one out. I go to Live and see the settings and it ask do it want to search for a match according to my favorite settings or whatever I say yes and it does nothing. Can't figure out how to get online also.

I'm on the PS4 and I pressed R3 in the Main Menu (this will enable a search for an Opponent) and then you just wait there until it puts you in a match.

You can also go to Online tab in the Main Menu and prioritize the type of Match/Wrestlers you want and it will automatically put you in there depending on your priority/availability.

They got rid of the whole lobby system so you can't really see your opponent's selection.

This is the most ridiculous way of playing online. Who approves this being in the video game? My god 2k is a disaster

This game needs to be patched to bring back the lobby system. Plus also the fun of going online was to see everyone's CAW and entrances. Doing away with that was just dumb. I hate to say it but this has to be one of the worst purchases for me this year. This game is so half-assed that it is almost embarrasing. Either do it right or don't do it at all.
