Question Thinking of getting PES

Can someone give me an unbiased opinion on FIFA 15 V PES15? Also is there an official team let, because I saw someone on twitch playing with Chelsea on twitch, but I didn't see anywhere that the Epl was licensed. Amy feedback would be awesome, thanks.

Re: Thinking of getting PES

It really all depends on what YOU want out of your football game. FIFA is 100% a next gen title, from the licenses, to the graphics, to the commentary, to the options/sliders, menus everything. PES is none of that, at all. Its awful in all of these areas actually.
On the pitch, FIFA again is pretty strong, the ball and player physics are top notch, better than PES again. BUT, and this is HUGE, in FIFA there isn't much of a style difference between clubs, the CPU pretty much plays the same way each game. IN PES, every games feels different, they've really done a tremendous job in this area and its the biggest selling point of the game IMO.

No one can really explain it better then this.

Why not trying both demos? Play them to exhaustion!!! Give it a go for at least some good 20 to 30 matches on each, so you can decide wich one is better.

Yup, or maybe watch some Twitch feeds and/or try to get someone on here to share it with you if you're on the PS4.

Thinking of getting PES

Another reason I like PES is the licensing of Champions League, Europa League, not to mention AFC Champions League and the other two South American Tournaments that I can't spell at my present location :\

To be fair, all star players essentially play the same as well, and could easily be stars at any position.

Ive played numerous games online where messi and neymar played as RB and LB and were unstoppable as defenders and when bringing the ball up, any move makes your players miss -- they were playing box to box, no problems.

Another problem is that you can hold the speed button all game and players seem to not lose their speed, acceleration or stamina... it's quite ridiculous.

Physics are great on FIFA, but this year I think PES is pretty close. You wont see the sort of shots, passes, crosses on FIFA as you do on PES.

Havent bought a PES game since PES 2008, but this year I traded in FIFA cause, to me, the gameplay doesn't even come close.

Re: Thinking of getting PES

To reiterate what others have said, two things draw me to PES:

1. Variety of play. FIFA 14 was a good game, a game that also got old really fast due to it's redundancy. I've only played a handful of games in PES 15 so far and it feels like they've got the variety aspect down.

Generally speaking this is how the two games differ. EA has never really been known for a lot of depth and strategy in their sports games, while Konami has made it a focus for PES. I haven't played FIFA 15, but from what I gather it pretty much follows suit.

2. PES may not have a lot of licenses, but the ones it has are very good. The Champions League is fun to play through, as are the other tournaments. It's also nice to have those licenses in Master League.

Re: Thinking of getting PES

I appreciate the feedback guys. I might pick it up and try it out. I'll lose the 20 or so bucks but I'll be happy with a good soccer game. I'm just hesitant mainly because I love playing with Liverpool even post Suarez lol. As far as the cheap stuff with Messi and Neymar I'm sure they'll patch that lol. Well I hope they do

Ps I'm on xbox1 look for me, guys and gals strongarmsteadi
