crazy good generated player, regen or no?

In my career mode year 3 in the January transfer period I found Marcello Berni from Italy at 5'9" 150lbs. I saw his potential stats and my jaw dropped. 99 basically everything. He is only 19, 78ovr and has 99 pace already. I thought it was a regen but no Italian is this great atm. Has anyone ever found a random generated player like this before, I'm shocked. It cost me 35,000,000 euro to get him.

Don't know if he is a regen or not. But I think he is not because I can't think of any nasty RM that are Italian. TBH I can't even name the starting RM for the Italian National team.

Re: crazy good generated player, regen or no?

That's most certainly a generated player. I've had a few great ones so far as well. Marcel Haas a CM/CDM from Germany he's 16 and already a 75. Slow as heck but his passing ratings are off the charts along with his mentality and tackling. Also have a 17 year old striker named Umberto Solinas who is a 74 and scored 3 goals in the League Cup for me.

I also have a few in my acadamy that have potentials of 95, but then again I had a few who when signed had potentials of 92 and within 6 months have gone down to 74, so it's still hit or miss, which is good.

Re: crazy good generated player, regen or no?

How do you find the "regens?"

Are they placed into FA before each year? Or do your transfer market Scouts find them? If so, what are you searching for to find them, and are they normally on small teams?

My transfer market scouts have yet to find a guy who is 75+ over and under 20 who is not a real player. They have found guys who are 22-23 and in the low 80's who are fake, but never any 'phenoms' so to speak who are under 20 and already talented.

I used to never know this. But the easiest ones to find are guys that are greats from countries that play in a different country then their nationality like Ibra, Bale, Ribery, Ronaldo, Messi. But look for guys 16-20 with the has potential to be special. And they play in the same as those guys AFTER THEY RETIRE. That is the big thing, regens are all retired players. So for instance you want an Ibra regen and he stayed with PSG for the rest of his career. Go into the transfer search thingy, and search for striker, sweden nationality, 16-20, Ligue 1 and the guy does not have to be with PSG it can be on any team in Ligue 1. And then scroll through every player and look for the has potential to be special. And the one with that is Ibra's regen. But if that player is not there then you have to search the rest of the leagues in the world. Lahm is also an easy one because of all of his secondary positions. That's the other thing all regens have the same position as the real player. But here the youtube vid, that I learned all of this from. Yes I know it's for FIFA 14 but should be the same process.
