Players who are better (or worse) IN GAME than their rating suggests?

I've noticed guys who play better and are more useful than their ratings in the game suggest. One that comes to mind is Tony Wroten. His rating is in the mid 70's somewhere, but he plays about as good as low 80's guards. Both for the CPU, and when he's user controlled. I traded for him in MyGM because of this, I needed an offensive boost. He definitely provided it.

On the opposite side, Manu Ginobilli seems a lot more useLESS than his low 80's rating suggests. Maybe I'm not using him correctly, he's always been short on defense, but even on offense, he seems too slow to perform like he could in real life with getting into the lane and playmaking.

Has anyone else got any players in mind that outperform or underform in NBA2k15 based on their in-game ratings?

It's not like they are just better than their ratings. Keep in mind, it's "OVERALL" rating. A guy could have all offensive stats maxed out with terrible defense and only be a 73 rating. If you went to check out Tony Wroten's offense it's probably pretty decent. He's also athletic hence why he can create offense. The reason guys like LeBron have such good overalls is because their stats ALL AROUND are amazing, not just a section. Offense isn't the only stay that determines a players overall...

Dwight Howard...plays all 48 minutes and shoots fadeaway baseline jumpers like he is Karl Malone.

Zach lavine. If you need pg in my league or mygm get him asap I'm in year 3 he is an 80 overall. 91 3pt,with corner specialist and limitless range. Then he is fast and has posterizer its just unfair.

On the other hand I don't like demarcus cousins. He is a 91 rating in my game now but doesn't feel dominate in the paint. He misses a lot of open shot under the hoop even when he beats his man.

Rudy Gobert and Shabazz Muhammed are pretty good in game even thought they're in the low 70s.

Zach Lavine: Is a player capable of playing way above his level. 90 Speed, 94 Vert, 90 quick with a vertical and high dunking at 6-6. He is truly a video game player right now with his ability to trigger dunks. He really is a great dunker but isn't really great a finishing in traffic yet he needs space. Right now he is a video game player on this game. Like some others have said though he is a prospect that once he gets it bbIQ wise and gets strength should be on another level. 2K doesn't balance out how hard it is to get dunks by default roster and settings so he is overpowered.

Tony Wroten: Actually is someone who is actually playing good in real life right now probably above his ratings than what 2K has him. He is tall 6-6 very fast has been making his 3's (40+%) high assists but he also has high amount of turnovers. He also has a really good handle. So his quickness and size is working how it works in real life he gets in the paint at will.

Manu: To me plays just about right. The part about him you may not be using is he is a really good passer so again at the 6-6 size. So you have to use him like a playmaker 3's, Euros, hop steps, floaters, and spin layups. Shooting mid range isn't his strength. The ability to basically play 1-3 gives him an advantage for his rating.

Tony Wroten only works in the game if you use him as a slashing guard. His outside shooting is poor and almost the whole floor is a cold spot for him. In MyGM I traded him, he does have decent trade value.

I really like Nerlens Noel as a rim protector and rebounder. He is only rated 73 because of his poor offense but is great at blocking and rebounding.
