UFC like post release support?

UFC has had probably the best post release support for a sports game in history. Up to V 1.5 yesterday...a 1 gig update just now added brand new content / free extra fighters / gameplay extras etc. That is two months after release and is the third really big update. It has changed a 6.5/10 game into a legit 8.5/10 game.

Outstanding support from EA.

There are EA Devs and marketing guys reading this forum currently...can someone guarantee that LIVE 15 will get similar post release support?

If so, I will buy the game this weekend...and I am sure many others will also.

FIFA has had great updates also...NHL also has had entirely new game modes added...also yearly titles.

EA has the technology to update within the game . Truly next gen.

2K lacks this technology (patches have to go via MS/Sony and are limited by size and always have massive delays waiting for 'approval'). This is one area LIVE can potentially go past 2K and do so quickly.

Basically what I am saying is EA has supported UFC, NHL and FIFA superbly with their new technology and ability to put out huge content updates within the game...if they can guarantee LIVE is going to get the same support, I will be in line to buy it. Many others also.

So, give us that guarantee.

They did last year, don't see why it would be a problem this year.

Not really. Last year they added a practice court basically to placate all the people annoyed by it not being there at release. Their "hour after a game has finished" synergy updates were often weeks...and their roster updates were almost non existent at times. I ended up with multiple generic players (remember "Point Guard" the generic roster filler!)...

Last year they went months without a single ratings update.

This year needs to be up to UFC / FIFA level support.

At the least they should be able to back up their claim on frequent roster updates....(they're already behind). 2k is showing that doesn't take any advanced technology to do that.

I'm definitely intrigued to see if they use this ability to make quick tweaks without a patch to their advantage. The community has to do their part in providing the feedback so this can happen as well....

The EA roster guy is active on here, right? It would be appreciated if he could let us know. No opening night rosters is not a good look. Beds just nailed the entire NBA with his 2K roster update.

This is especially important for LIVE as we can't edit the rosters ourselves...

Assuming it'll be like Live 14, this will get tons of support! This is only the beginning as the game will continue to evolve and be night and day different by the half way point of the season. The Live 14 team was so dedicated that they even updated the rosters in early October when the game was pushed back to the 28th! Most sport games stop udating rosters the week the season ends. Expect tweaks to the gameplay and even new animations potentially as often as every week within their roster updates and expect the first major title update patch in early December. Last year they added a shoot around mode months later because people were having trouble shooting. So I'm sure the options are endless to what Live 15 will look like come All Star Weekend
