I was wondering if we were to play a 2 player game with a friend using PS4's new SharePlay feature, would there be less lag than playing with a friend the traditional online way. I'm not home right now to try it out , but if anyone wants to give it a shot and post back the results. That would be great. I am definitely going to try it out later tonight tho.

It would be like picking a 2 player local game, but playing online together with the shareplay feature. The online lag right now is pretty much unbearable and was hoping that this could possible make it better experience until they fix the lag (if ever)

I haven't tried it but i heard someone who did says it's less laggy.

That would be awesome, unfortunately, my pessimism is getting the best of me here. I surely hope I'm wrong because I can see this getting a LOT of airtime from me if it works as it's supposed to.

If SharePlay work better than the crappy 2K servers, should 2K look into implement its game using SharePlay as the main mode for the one-on-one competitive online gaming??

Both. If you both want to play together/against each other, then both MUST have Playstation Plus. If you just want your friend to play your games by themselves, then he/she doesn't need Playstation Plus...just internet connection.

If both are PS plus members you can play 2-player. If only the host is plus, you can only "pass the controller" to the friend, so to speak.
