Will Madden 16 be the Year they Overhaul Animations?

Why does the Madden team continue to ignore animations year after year? I'm tired of these stiff robotic animations, animations that repeat over and over again, the lack of variety in animations, and how generic this game is, every player have the same moves I swear animations remain in this game from almost a decade ago.

How is this allowed in 2014 on the next gen consoles? The quarterback dropbacks and animations need to be redone from the ground up (really all the animations), this positiion is the most popular position in all of American sports and the way its represented in Madden is horredous, let along signiture animations and movement, I've been waiting on Tony Romo's famous backside spin to be in for the longest, Peyton Manning's audible animations, individual Qb reactions, the list goes on. Tiburon continues to ignor animations only doing the very minimum every year.

And now I know they have the ability to dramatically improve animations seeing how NBA Live 15 did so in just one year! I dont understand why this is such low priority for Madden?

Agreed. Besides the unaggresive nature of WRs when the balls in the air(needs re-done), this would be my #2 complaint, especially on "trucking" animations...

I have played over 400 games on Madden '15, and at least once in every game I "truck" someone... But never once, not one freakin' time, has me trucking someone lead to an extra yard, not once! C'MON MAN!

The "truck" animations last way tooo long and once you do "snap out of it", your ballcarrier is reduced to 30% speed. C'mon Man! Just because I ran that last guy over doesn't mean my guy rolled his ankle or tore his ACL! C'MON MAN!

It's neither here nor there, but in a certain NFL game I played on my ps2 ten(10) years ago, I didn't have this unrealistic animation problem while rumbling.. Jus' sayin'.

Yes, Madden needs a complete animation overhaul. I'm so tired of seeing 2 or sometimes 4 players all doing the same animation at one spot. Most noticeable the jumping animation when players trying to avoid other players. Also, players still walk to robotic. I do however like the fact that certain games will have the QB pass/throw blocked and nice to see football throws are not all spirals.

I doubt it. I don't see them overhauling animations anytime soon. These are the same people that won't put blocked field goals and punts in the game.

I thought Clint mention during the gameplay livestream that they would look at animations for Madden 16? At least DB/WR interactions and gang tackling were things he said would be worked on for Madden 16. I may be remembering wrong but I swore he said this.

I would love to see a "free-flowing" environment instead of gameplay mixed in with triggered animations and cutscreens...

Adding celebrations in play was a start...now let's get rid of all cut screens and all of the limited, predetermined animations. Time to build a real physics engine

Its not going to happen.

If it was going to happen, it wouldve with the new engine. Just like last gen...this is the engine we are stuck with for another 5+ years....unless EA's loses the license and is force to actually...ya know...TRY.
