Hey all, long time since I've posted here but yuh know... life and stuff.

I'll get right too it, this thread is where I will be posting logs of 3 games of each slider set on OS. The games will be the same and a new CFM will be started for each set for fairness. I know 3 isn't the largest sample size for any slider set, but it will give us a good idea of what's out there instead of trying to sift through all of the posts in each slider thread.

Please do NOT hijack this thread!!!

Don't post your own box scored please. If you have a box score you'd like to post, please send me the link and I'll have a look. If it looks legit, then I'll post it under the appropriate slider. Yes, mention the slider you used WITHOUT any changes made too it.

DO recommend slider sets to test.

Rules

The only rules I follow is that I do not switch defenders, nor do I hardly every control any defenders. I do not user catch and I have coach mode on so that I can pay attention to the receivers getting open. I also hardly ever control the running back and for picking plays I normally use one of the "strategy" options.

• User running was underwhelming (couple mediocre plays made the avg)
• defense got to me several times before ball was handed off
• questionable QB comp % but not too bad

• Deep balls have 100% tight coverage, even when leading. Defenders react too fast to bat ball away from 10 yards out.

Really fun game near the end due to a last minute turnover that nearly cost me the game.

• Clearly User running is too weak (Foster should 3.8-5.2, higher end vs Raiders)
• QB comp % determined so far to be too high
• CPU QB avg too low (5.3)
• Good job in targeting primary receivers
• Too many sacks (last game ok, so we'll see)
• Felt like Madden 4th quarter cheat in affect
• Penalties are extremely low
• 1 successful deep ball for 89 yards (Andre Johnson), tackled at 1

This game was almost like a blooper real, it was a weird game filled with flop plays, misreads and tons of sacks.

• Way too many sacks
• Misreads by the User QB when throwing coach mode.
• Every TD by CPU was an overhead deep bomb
• Rarely can User QB throw and overhead bomb
• Running felt over-powered, possibly to balance other games out
• QB comp % good
• This entire game seemed to balance stats for the other 2 games.
• I felt forced to lose instead of faulty play
• Too few penalties
• CPU avg 12.4 per pass!

Final Thoughts

Overall Armors slider set was fun to play and frustrating (good thing) at times. The set isn't without it faults, however I think with a bit of tweaking, those can be fixed. Please evaluate the box scores I have posted above for this slider set and let us know what you think.

Takeaways & Recommendations

Would I use this set for a CFM? Absolutely I would, it's a great set that provides a good challenge. My main concerns are with the sack issue and that the game goes into cheat mode. How is this possible on All-Pro? I have no idea, just how it felt. Confidence seemed to really matter, so if you're doing well, you'll continue to do well until you mess up.

Here are a few changes I would make before plugging this set into a CFM

Increase INTs from 35 to 38
Decrease Fumbles from 48 to 46
Reduce Facemask from 51 to 25 (for sacks)

To help with the deep ball, we can decrease PRT and PC but then we have to decrease QBA as well. Also, playing on Normal speed helps a bit because it renders faster animations (I'd probably stick with Slow).

This was one of the worst games of Madden I've played in a long time from a realism standpoint. Hopefully it was just a fluke because Charter04 is known for making great slider sets.

• CPU QB comp % way too high
• All deep balls = INT
• All INT attempts were successful, no drops
• Running Game was abysmal until the 4th quarter when CPU/User RB got a couple big plays. Until then, RB avg was 1.8ypc
• The passing distribution actually made sense (higher WR Catching results in more targets to RBs). Will want to use this setting, it's exciting.
• User tackles/sacks came from correct positions
• No User INT attempts
• CPU went into cheat mode (4th quarter)
• CPU robo-QB was in effect
• Too few penalties
• Sacks weren't rediculous. All but 1 were in 4th quarter. Me thinks All-Madden is the culprit to robo-QB, cheat-mode and sack issue.

This game actually felt kind of normal up until the 2nd half when things started going haywire. Rarely did anything feel natural in this game.

• Too many INTs
• Game feels forced or predetermined
• Robo-QB kicks in randomly
• 4th qtr madden cheat mode (common amongst all 3 games)
• Stats are too much. League can't compete
• Running game was OK. Outside runs are locked off.

Unfortunately CharterO4's All-Madden slider set has too many issues for me to make a recommendation.

• Too many INTs
• Sacks are OK for the most part
• Madden cheat mode felt in full effect
• Robo-QB was a constant
• No WR fight for the ball. DB bats if within 5 yards 95% of the time.
• No deep balls = INT nearly every time
• Running game had no substance or consistency.
• Only 1 or 2 big generic runs would make up for RB avgs
• RB seemed to have no vision
• Players crashed into each other like test dummies
• Too many easy throws were errant passes without pressure
• WR invisible shield up for drops (AI trying to balance QBA)
• Everything mostly felt controlled by predetermined AI instead of my or the CPUs game play and outcomes being situational.

This was a fun game but a bit too easy. I didn't feel a real sense of Robo-QB or madden cheat mode, however some things felt like the AI took over. The rushing attempts by CPU were good since they were playing catch-up. This might be one of the better sets if the below issues can be addressed, but otherwise love what I'm seeing

• Bad - Alfred Morris ran over JJ Watt
• No RB vision. Gains are through pile up tackles
• Running game could use some work
• Sacks by correct positions
• Too many USER sacks
• QB does not sense pressure
• Fun factor while keeping a semblance of realism
• QB comp % a bit high
• A bit too easy
• Amount of penalties was OK
• Decent pass distribution
• Lead tackles from correct positions
• Punting avg was good
• Good amount INTs and believable (key to realism, good news here)
• QB scrambles were good (mostly against Man Defenses)
• QB avgs 9.4 USER and 6.3 CPU so better than most sliders

Wow, what a frustratingly challenging and fun game. The CPU gave me a run for my money, I actually had to think about my plays. Threw a 40 yard deep slant to a wide open Uzoma for game winning TD in OT. Once again, this slider set has the best potential so far.

• Low CPU QB passing (could be game variance)
• QB comp % was excellent
• Running game was too strong (last game was poor), but good gameplay
• Takling still too weak
• Turnovers were good
• Sacks were nearly perfect
• INTs were good and believable
• Too many batted balls from defenders 5+ yards away (recognized before ball was thrown, 12 by CPU, 1 by USER)
• Penalties were excellent (amount not distribution)
• Good punt avg
• Pass distribution needs work

Another really fun game with this set. Some of the stats are scewed due to my inability to capitalize on opportunities and I threw some INTs that rushed throws. Overall a fun and realistic game for the most part.

• Too many sacks (I also blitzed a lot trying to force turnovers)
• OK amount of turnovers
• Too many fumbles
• Too few penalties
• Auto-Subs seem not to work correctly
• Great pass distribution based on situations
• Tackles too spread out.
• Sacks by correct positions
• CPU passing avg was good (8.4ypa)

Overall, the games felt nice from a fun factor and realism standpoint. The slider set isn't without it's issues though and a those are noted below. However, I think with a little tweaking, this is the only set you'll need if you're mostly a coach mode player who doesn't constantly blitz and run slant routes.

• Kicking Power needs a boost for more CPU touchbacks
• Rushing Attempts were way too high for CPU (need to reduce this somehow)
• Auto-Subs didn't work well
• QB comp % was OK throughout
• QB YPA was a nice change of pace. Lots of shots downfield.
• Turnovers were good
• Not quite enough penalties (afraid to adjust these)
• RB with a bit too many targets
• Tackle seems slightly weak
• Slightly too many sacks
• Tackles/INTs/Sacks made by correct positions (this is nice)

This game was OK as I didn't see a ton of issues. 2 USER scores were from turnovers near the goal line. CPU lost TOP or may have won.

• Too many USER sacks
• Pass distribution was excellent!
• 4th quarter comeback mode possible
• Running Game felt weak on both sides
• Didn't like that FS lead in tackles
• Slow game speed feels sluggish. Change to liking, doesn't affect sliders.
• Good QB YPA

We destroyed the Raiders but it was still fun and believable as that's not too far fetched in reality. That's why I'm playing 3 games right? Each game is different.

• Running seemed fine. Big AVGs were mainly from 1 big run.
• Game felt fair on both sides as players played more or less true to their ratings.
• QBs were scrambling and throwing balls away, even Derek Carr.
• Players were swatting balls.
• Deep balls are still impossible without a slant route (underthrown).
• Is good that the CPU yardage totals were close to USERS
• I could see the Raider having 5 turnovers
• Good amount of penalties
• LOVE leading tackler being LB and in double digits
• Did not like JJ Watt with only 1 tackle and no sacks
• Good amount of sacks
• Maybe too many INTs for USER and too few for CPU
• CPU pass distributions was not good

Game was kind of fun but probably the most realistic set so far compared to the ones above it. The main problem with these sliders is that the CPU can't score or get the upper hand.

• Good amount of turnovers
• Great QB comp %
• Enjoyed seeing the CPU finally beat me in passing yards
• First set to have CPU go for 4th down conversions
• No shortage of penalties, maybe reduce False Start a bit to get Encroachment in there
• Running game was pretty good on both sides
• Pass distribution stinks
• Far too many sacks (could be variance)
• Would like to see leading sackers come from DL, came from LB
• Love seeing leading tacklers be LB
• Auto subs didn't seem to work for RBs

Final Thoughts

This might seem lazy and it kind of is but really this set is pretty good. A few things need to be ironed out. I know the creator was trying to get the best actual NFL averages possible and that's understandable. However, there are other issues such as pass distribution, sacks (not as much) and INTs that need to be addressed. It's a really tough call to recommend this set or Charters All Pro set so I might add both for now. From a pure stats standpoint, I'd probably choose Jaymees but overall I'd have to say Charters. However with a little adjustment to the sliders, penalties and autosubs, both of the sets would be excellent.

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome back!

No, my plan for this thread is to play 3 games a piece with each slider set, or at least the popular ones on the forums. Then I will post box scored with my feedback for that games. After all 3 games are played, I will post my overall feedback of that set. This will help us figure out the best base slider set.

Idk if I plan to make my own set, maybe after this project is completed but for the moment I'd rather help the community by giving a one-top slider shop complete with feedback and box scores in the OP so people don't have to sift through the 1,000's of posts out there to get the same thing.

Yes he is still around he posts here . He hasnt messed with Madden 15 yet this year. Yep i remember Madden 12 you and him with that QBA Chart was NICE
