Conference realignment?

How does realignment work in NCAABB10? Is it anything like the NCAA FB games?

I just picked up CH2K8, and I'm not too happy with the way it works. I'm used to NCAA FB where the only limitation is you can't add more total teams (e.g. Charlotte & Georgia Southern moving up to FBS), but you've got pretty much free reign to move teams and change conference sizes.

I tried Googling, and couldn't find anything. I did see one post on a Liberty U site saying there are conference invites like NCAAFB used to have. Does NCAABB10 still have them? What about just moving teams around? Does NCAABB10 let you actually move teams like NCAA FB, or are you restricted to swapping teams like 2K8?

i guess you wouldn't recommend 2k8 then? what are the realignment options like?

If I'm remembering correctly you cannot edit the conferences in NCAABB10. However, if you get far enough into a dynasty I think you might be invited to join a conference at the expense of a team that is in that conference going to the one that you are currently in. I think that is the furthest that the game goes into in terms of editing conferences.
