Week 8: Seattle Seahawks (3-3) @ Carolina Panthers (3-3-1)

The top 2 defenses from last year square off as shells of their last-year-selves. Seattle is coming off of a surprising loss in St. Louis. Carolina got their asses handed to them in Green Bay.

Not really sure what to expect in this one. Both QBs are playing well this year as Russell has taken control of the offense. I think Lynch will have a big game as Carolina can't stop the run this year. The Carolina DBs might actually match up okay with the Seattle WRs.

On the other side, Carolina desperately needs to find some kind of run game. Stewart ran well at the end of the blowout last week, but that was against soft coverages so can't take anything from that. Cam still looks a little dinged up, but he's running more. The OL is a disaster with both starting Guards hurt. Seattle hasn't had much of a pass rush this year, but I expect that to change in this game.

Seattle is still the much better team, but they're playing a 10 am game, so maybe Carolina has a shot.

Don't know what to think about this Carolina team....if anything, I thought we'd be able to bank on our defense...but it has been a big letdown this season. If we cant get any pressure on Russ, he'll eat us alive..

Big time game for the Seahawks. Gotta overcome the injuries. Hoping to see continued progression from the offense, as it finally looked like the one I expected to see in the second half last week. As for the defense...can I get a little pass rush? Please?

They absolutely will this game. Carolina has the worst OL in the NFL

This game seems like it's always in Carolina.

Man I will believe it when I see it. The d-line just isn't anything like last year's.

Basically because it is. Third straight year now the Seahawks are playing in Carolina.

Upset special, I've got Carolina winning this game. The media will blame it on Harvin and say the wheels are falling off. I personally think Carroll and Wilson will handle the press well and the team will bounce back just fine.

If Carolina wins neither team scores 20 points
