How do you get tuner updates

Has there been a clear answer to this question??
I have never been prompted to download a tuner update
I only ever see 'latest' and 'v1.00'

I am connected to Internet at all times
But I do not play online

Someone please help

Go into HUT or some online mode, get ready to select a team, and leave. Should work

I don't have PS plus
I shouldn't have to pay to get goddamn tuner updates

I'm not too familiar with how PS4 works but I have read you don't need Plus to get it

I've never been prompted to download latest tuner, like you used to be on PS3, by hitting triangle.
I want to like this game, it just keeps getting worse and worse, the more you play

I'm not seeing the tuner either. PS4, on line...but not ps plus.

You don't need plus to get tuner updates. The come automatically. The only way you'll know is NHL Twitter page. Oh and the other way you'll know is the gameplay will be broken.

There is no option like last gen to select the tuner updates, example : v1.00 1.01 1.02 etc..

This year it's just v1.00 and Latest.

So if the Latest breaks the game, like the situation we're in RIGHT NOW, then you're pretty much screwed online. At least offline you can go back to V1.00 which was a breath of fresh air in the gameplay dept. But the genius' at EA NHL thought it'd be better to bring back last gen gameplay to us


update - just saw they put out another tuner update, will check tonight.

just downloaded the latest roster. there was no prompt, but when I see the Advanced Settings it does now say v1.00 , v1.01, and latest. Before this roster, it only said v1.00 and latest.
