myCareer offensive consistency

I was playing myCareer last night and was looking at my overall ratings on my player card and noticed offensive consistency ( I think that's what it was called, at work now so I can't check ). I think it was at the base rating, 50. I noticed in the attributes upgrades the defensive attribute upgrades the defensive consistency rating but I didn't see anything for offensive consistency. Anyone know?

Also, very stupid question.. after games from time to time I get a popup that says you have new attributes available to upgrade. When I goto the attributes section I was expecting a new category of some sort but only see the original categories. What is this popup referring to? thanks

I would guess it means you have points or whatever to purchase an attribute point, but I don't know because I haven't play 15 yet and I really don't play MyCareer that much. So this is just an educational guess.

You start out with a maximum of 75 upgrades. As you play you can earn up to 100 upgrades. Since there's 6 categories with 20 upgrades each (120 total), you'll only be 20 upgrades short of maxing every category. I hope that wasn't too confusing.

I plan on not upgrading my rebounding at all and maxing out everything else since I'm a PG.

With regards to offensive consistency, I noticed that too. That's probably why I'm terribly streaky. I wonder if there's a badge that can affect it. I really don't know.

I think 2K just forgot about Offensive Consistency for MC. There are players like Lebron who have it at 99 with no way to upgrade beyond 50. There really is no way to stay consistent without being hot as the grade is at 50. The stat is available for defense though. This is a frustrating oversight but might have something to do with getting a perfect release? Maybe the consistency has to be 50 for it to hit perfect half the time? That is just a guess.

As for the attributes, I am pretty sure you can max out each category but depending on your position, the stats will always be capped. Shots capped at 95 for PG and standing dunk at 75 for example.

I would hate to find out that I just put one bar in rebounding just to cost me a high tier bar of shooting or playmaking... Nevertheless, there are only 19 bars allowed in Rebounder.
