Unable to advance past 2015 NBA Draft

I just completed my first season of MY GM and can't get the game to progress beyond the 2015 NBA Draft. I've gone through the grueling process of dismantling the Lakers, shedding salary and getting the guys I targeted twice now, and each time Adam Silver finishes up and then looks around the screen mindlessly.

Has anyone been able to progress beyond the draft? Is there a fix for this?

I haven't had this problem in particular, but I did have an issue where I had to use the mouse to click advance to get past one of the off season stages. It wouldn't let me do it with the controller. I'm coming up on the draft which I'll be doing once I get home from work, so I'll update once I get there.

I tried a fresh GM save, simmed through, and had the same problem at the draft as well.

That sucks man. I was actually able to advance past the draft but the game did hang for a bit before the exit draft option popped up so idk.

Oh man. I don't know if I'm happy or horrified to hear its an isolated thing. Glad you were able to get through, though.

Update:

I loaded up the game last night and figured I'd give it another chance. Draft actually went through this time!

Five sim seasons later and the Lakers are champions after back to back Finals appearances.

Sim engine seems to be pretty good in this game. Been watching stats and my team tendencies pretty closely. Dig it.
