Defense is a joke

Just watch the video. I clearly block the ball but since defense is a complete and utter joke my hand goes through the visible yet not there ball resulting in a layup for the opponent. That is some bull**** and it happens all the time. I should be getting 5 blocks a game but only get maybe 1 or none because the game decides when I actually block not the animation.

There are so many times when it starts the layup or dunk animation for the opponent and I get there in time to block but I end up swatting the air not the ball that ends up in the hoop. It is playing two separate animations and not the defender and opponent interacting animation. It is really stupid.

Really sad legacy issue.

Bad enough hands going through the ball. But what kills me is the ball speeding up to avoid your hand lol.

You're acting like there hasn't been a 7'2", or even a 7'3" tall center ever in the NBA? Hell Yao Ming was 7'6", Shawn Bradley 7'6" ('93-'05), Chuck Nevitt 7'5" ('82-'93), and many more.

No I'm acting like, he's only tall because he just wants to have no competition, which is fine, but don't complain when it goes a little bad, plus I don't believe that second block was goaltending and the first looks like it would have been if the ball warps through the hand. I am not denying that isnt BS, but clipping like that in animations happen in every game and in all other sports games.

I've had this exact thing happen before, hilarious.

There are some collision issues but overall I've found blocking to be a lot better this year.
