Better Sim experience? MyLEAGUE or My GM

Just from the quick glance at each mode I might know the answer to this already, but I figure I'd get a few 2nd opinions before I make my decision.

Took a quick break from my career last night and was playing around in the menus. I'm a huge sim style 2k player and love rebuilding teams. Headed into MyGM with the Hawks, who I'm considering running with, and played around with a test file before settling on a roster and sliders. Saw a few new things but in large part the same mode as last year and backed out.

Throughout 2k15s hype process I assumed MyLEAGUE was simply their online my GM. Headed into the mode to check it out and discovered a franchise mode with an array of global league options. Didn't really delve any deeper into the mode other than starting a season with a league consisting of classic teams and euro teams just as a test, but I'll surely look more into it this afternoon more.

My question is, which mode are you guys playing and what are the pros and cons of each mode? If The Franchise portion of MyLEAGUE is simply next gens version of old school association mode then count me in!

Also I'm well aware there is a MyGM and MyLEAGUE separate threads ,but I figured that wasn't really the place to ask for a comparison of the modes.

I play with MyGM because I don't care about playing with 30 different teams and I like all the RPG elements and different options you get with the MyGM experience.

Also, I do a fantasy draft with the Celtics so it doesn't really matter to me about having subpar CPU trade logic. All the teams have different players anyways.

Sure you can really drill down and customize things with MyLeague but I feel like you get more of a sim experience with MyGM.

Same as the last guy. I play myGM because of the rpg elements. I can live with the bad cpu trades and everything else that goes with it.

I would say MyLeague is the best sim experience cause you can control all 30 teams and monitor everything to keep it realistic. But personally, I don't have time for that, and I think the ridiculous CPU to CPU trades spicen up MyGm a little. So I prefer that.

I feel the exact same way. How many times in real life have you seen a trade happen and when you look back think what we're they doing?

MyGM: had interesting RPG elements, more responsibility and such...

MyLeague: old school association on steroids. Serious steroids.
