Playing with friends in another country? PS4

I can't seem to play a private match or park with friends that are not in the united states. If we try private match, the invite error says our data is out of sync and to go back to the main menu and try again. When trying to play park, it says that the friend may have changed parks or is no longer available to join.

We've tried changing language settings, deleting storage file user data and settings, and resetting routers. Changing NAT types. Nothing has worked.

Can someone help? Or does anyone have any idea?

I have several european friends that play this and they can play with eachother, but not with me or any persons from the states.

Seems to be how the 2k servers are set up right now, don't know if in the future they'll patch it out or not, I would assume they patch it so everyone can play with everyone again. But maybe this is intentional, maybe they don't want the lag, can't say for sure.

I know my euro friends have contacted support with no response, so there is that.

Atleast the US and Euro servers can find games. AUS/NZ parks are permanently empty, lucky to find enough players for a 2 on 2 game. Only ever seen one other person in the Jordan rec as well
