I just published a You Tube video showing off the new swing camera angles and the innovative Golfer Perspective/Follow Camera transition options that will be in what HBS is calling Update 1. HBS supposedly submitted both console versions for certification Friday. We could see the PS4 version as early as Wednesday, if history repeats itself.

I set my PC up to what I think is the equivalent detail and filtering settings on the PS4 version and played a couple of holes. It's a You Tube video, so it's replete with compression artifacts, but it gets the idea across.

I'm trying to get confirmation that HBS submitted the update to both Sony and Microsoft last Friday. If they did, I'd expect to see the PS4 update as early as Wednesday. As for the XBox One update, if history repeats itself, it could be two weeks from today.

HBS has now confirmed that the updates for both the PS4 and XB1 versions of The Golf Club were submitted for certification last Friday! I'll start a thread on that as soon as HBS publishes a list of what is included in the update, besides the plethora of camera options.

Just posted a new video showing view option #1 (swing camera just above golfer's knee level). It's a little easier to follow the ball from this angle, but for me, it's a nightmare in terms of feel... I tend to slice everything from it. I find it even more difficult to use when putting, but you can cycle very easily to one of the four other putting camera views with a button press. I also show how easy it is to size up a putt from the reverse, side, and overhead approach views. I've included a ghost player so you can see how their play is now covered by a revised follow camera.

sweet! I really like that they were able to incorporate something like this... HB is proving to be an EXCELLENT dev team! keep up the great work!
