Madison Square Garden and TD Garden

I always wondered about this throughout all NBA 2k Games, but why is there never MSG or TD Garden on NBA 2k Games?

Is it that hard to get their license? Or do someone else (probably EA) own their license/rights?

I'm hoping someone can answer this as it has been bugging me for years!

MSG Co. wants too much money for the rights to use MSG in games. It was the same thing in Fight Night games. MSG was New York Arena.

I guess it's a similar situation for TD, but I'm not sure.

Well with EA having MSG in the NBA Live 14/15, you'd think 2K sports would be able to afford it!

Here's hoping for next year anyway. Just a massive Arena buff here, so it would be great to finally have all NBA Arenas in an NBA 2k game. At least they added Bankers Life Fieldhouse last year .

Still not a big enough reason for me to get Live over 2k LOL.

I know it's super minor, but as Knicks fan its always bothered me that the court doesn't say Madison Square Garden in 2k
