The generated ones are just so disproportionately weak. It's rare to find one over 60 strength. Do you guys just ignore this when you play with them because it probably doesn't show on the field. It just bugs me. I like an athletic freak of a TE on my team.

I have noticed plenty in the 60-70 range for strength. Compare that to TE's of the last few draft classes IRL and it's on par (based on the base rosters):

Tyler Eifert - 71
Eric Ebron - 74
Crocket Gillmore - 65
Colt Lyerla - 62
ASJ - 72
Colby Fleener - 77

I've gone through dozens of drafts and finding a TE with 70 str is rare. Most have grades F or D in str (50s - low/mid 60s). I've never seen a legit blocking TE with a high 70s or 80 str come out of these classes. It doesn't make sense since the fullbacks consistently have low 80s.

It's one of the glaring mistakes with the programming of the generated rookies.

It's about picking your poison. I'll take low strength TE's over anti-athletes at almost every skill position.

I suppose it depends on how you use your tight ends. A rookie tight end with 70's speed and 70's strength would be ideal for me. From there you can train up his blocking and receiving and end up with a very valuable player.
