What NBA Live had the best shooting mechanic?

None really stand out to me, let's hope 15 will be better.

Live 10 for sure. You could have momentum jumpers and jump stop jumpers. Shot mechanics just felt smooth too. I remember people saying things like 'the mid-range game is back' when that game came out.

Yeah, Live 10's was good. Live 08 was trash - no release point or anything, and Live 09 with that 'good release' high arc for 3's wasn't my thing. I don't think 08 and 09 took momentum into account that much, especially 08.

Loved Live 10's as far as shooting J's. Easy to pull off momentum shots, stop and pull up, and you could do them right out of a move to throw the defender off (especially vs Hum).

LOL....I hated 09. It was so obvious when you let go of the shot that it was going in. I was doing the "Gilbert Arenas, turn away and put up my hands before the ball went in" move at home after every shot...LOL.

I hated that....literally killed Live 09 for me.
