When is EDIT PLAYER coming?

Sorry if it was answered - I haven't seen an answer to this question

This is really the only thing stopping me from playing my Franchise......I'll be posting sliders soon as well

I thought I read that Edit Player was one of the things that would be patched in to the game

oh man.....that's gonna be a tough one to swallow for me......I only care about doing a Franchise (Be A GM) with the Bruins and I loved being able to make goalie equipment accurate.

It's not the end of the world.....but for christ sake....it's 2014 on next gen and if something like this gets left out of the game and won't be added, that's pathetic

When Rammer did his little answer questions he said it is something they know is important and plan to include but the date is TBD

i dont mind if its not in this year IF next year its in with the ability to global edit, and edit everything. From arena names, all player names, pbp, standings, team names, etc

Not a chance for all of that! $$$ would never allow the ability to change an arena name etc. in this game. Unless we can use a program like nhl view we won't have that option.

To add to this, nothing he said indicated it would be patched in this year. While there might be slim chance of it happening, I would not advise anyone to wait on it for starting BAGM. Same with other things like AHL games, sim to shift, fantasy draft, etc. If you enjoy the game enough to play it, play it, don't wait around for something that's probably not coming.

They announced the "content" being added - whether there's more beyond October, who knows - so holding out for something they didn't announce is foolish. I could see some "fixes" sneaking in, like maybe displaying season goal total instead of game total on scoring overlays or other things that might be relatively minor bugs in the code. No inside info or anything, just my take on it.
