Last one of the year. Already.

Sad.

Brewers need a miracle. They need a Giants or Pirates collapse and need to beat Reds and Cubs.

Pirates need to finish strong against Atlanta and Cincy. Three games.

Re: 9/22 - 9/28 Game Discussion Thread

I really think the Indians will make a run for it. Royals, A's, and Mariners are all playing below average. i think A's would pretty much have to go like 1-6 or something dramatic to lose their spot. Royals and Mariners, I can see struggling this week for some reason. Indians will miss Shields and get to play the entire week at home with some good pitching matchups.

Indians will have the confidence that they can pull it off from last year. I think they make it interesting, at the least.

Derek Jeter will be playing the rest of the Yankees games, some at DH instead of SS.
Sad to see him go, one of the all time great Yankees.

Been such a disappointing stretch for the Mariners. So many chances to make a move on the wild card spot and just playing really poorly. Really sucks.

Man, the Blue Jays are just whipping the M's. I can't say I feel bad for Seattle though.
