anyone playing HUT into helping each other out on team collections?

buddy and i been trading guys back and forth to get the free bonus packs etc.

we have completed 4 teams i do believe..

if anybody else out there like us, post here..

Is it just my bad luck or did the quality of collection reward cards get significantly reduced some time on Sunday?

I was consistently getting at least one to two 86-89 overall cards in the first five collections I completed through Saturday.

Then late Sunday night, when I did Winnipeg, I didn't get a single card above an 84 overall:

EA already tweaked the card rarity algorithms once during the NHL 15 EA Access period. I wouldn't put it past them to do that again since a lot of people were pulling good cards from these reward packs.

What have you guys been seeing with your reward pulls since Sunday night?

Boosted, I'm on XB1.

Jyoung, I was wondering that myself. Because the past two nights my buddies and I have collected like 24 free packs from completing the team collections. Didn't get as many highly rated players as the previous packs.

I did pull a few 88's and an 89. But that was it out of the 24 packs. Found that odd.

Since Sunday, I've done two more 7-pack teams: Columbus and Carolina.

The only card I got that was higher than an 85 overall from those 14 reward packs was a duplicate Eric Staal (89 overall) that I already owned.

"Rare" coaches also seem to take up one of the four rare slots in almost every pack now.

It really seems like they changed the algorithms behind the scenes sometime on Sunday so that these reward pucks wouldn't be as lucrative.

my bud and i have like 15 to 17 teams completed now. we did the 10 pack, forget what team it was. got nothing! lol

i wish someone with a Crosby and Malkin would help us out so we could snag the 12 packs from the Pens.

bah.. lol

I've opened 120 collection reward packs. Out of all those gold packs, only these cards are in my lineup right now:

Every other card I've gotten from these packs was a useless player at or below an 86/85 overall rating.

So your odds of getting a "roster player" are extremely low if you choose to complete collections. You will mostly just get lots and lots of junk cards.
