#Patchspoilers for the next patch.

List of patch spoilers so far.

From GameplayDevUFC

Before you shoot know your opponent's arsenal, or Marie Antoinette's downfall could be your own.

Solid_Altair - It seems the guy recovers stamina while he is recovering from throwing the kick. In this fashion a guy can spam kicks that will cost not a lot of stamina and still get a good portion of this stamina back, before throwing the other kick as soon as they recover from the previous kick. Had a good player spamming lead leg head kicks against me (with a taller fighter). I'm not saying it's an exploit, but it seems more efficiente than it should be, specially in terms of stamina.

Maybe it would be appropiate to disallow stamina recovery during the recovery from throwing strikes - the stamina should start to recover after the recovery from the strike, so that if a guy throws one kick after the other, his stamina won't recover at all, until he stops throwing strikes.

GameplayDevUFC - One step ahead of you. #patchspoiler

GameplayDevUFC -

This actually became painfully obvious once we added the fatigued kicks, because they were so slow you would refill 50% of your stamina while they completed, which defeated the purpose of them. We wanted it so that if you spammed kicks you'd eventually get to the fatigued ones and keep playing them until you let off and regained stamina.

By freezing stamina regen while throwing strikes we fixed that problem, and I think made everything better across the board.

having trouble defending kicks? maybe some well-timed offense is what you need. #EASPORTSUFC #PatchSpoilers

So I think the first one means that you can throw knees to defend against a takedown.

LOL. I was just about to edit my post. I kept thinking "off with her head" but totally forgot about the guillotine. So defend a takedown by going into a guillotine?

Re: #Patchspoilers for the next patch.

I'm guessing that if your opponent is a submission expert ("know your opponent's arsenal") then he can defend the takedown by triggering a submission aka the guillotine.

The other one seems pretty straight forward in that if you aren't good at defending the kicks, then it's best to focus on counter striking them or working on your timing to catch your opponent off guard when they attempt those kicks.

Keep em coming, Jazz!

The second one is you can now take your opponent down if he attempts a kick.

Re: #Patchspoilers for the next patch.

The guillotine choke from an attempted takedown was actually GameplayDevUFC's spoiler. :-) To initiate it you use R1 and down.
