User vs user sliders broken??

So I typically play madden vs other users whether its a single game or franchise play. I've notice that the impact of adjusting the sliders for user vs user games has a minimal affect on the game, particularly when it comes to the pass accuracy and receivers catching. Has anyone else noticed that? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
