Game continues to restart when i start it up

started up the game, it goes through the whole set up...takes about 5 minutes makes me play the seahawks vs panthers, then select my play level, then favorite team. once i am in i have to reload all my saved sliders (thanks for those by the way armor) and then i can play.
i shut the whole ps4 down and thought it was due to the recent tuning update...but when i loaded it again....same thing, had to wait while it took me through the setup...another 5 minutes...had to reload everything again.

Help or suggestions anyone>

Man i didn't want to hear this. I hadn't had this happened intill tonight when i downloaded the tuning thing it then did the restart thing before that it hadn't happened so i hope that doesn't continue to happen to me to.

This has been mentioned in a previous thread and has been occurring since l launch.

I just purchased the game on Friday for PS4, It started to do that too me yesterday afternoon, darn near every time I booted it up. So this morning I had enough and deleted all the files and started from scratch. Now mind you I didn't have a big stockpile of stuff since I only have owned the game around 48 hrs. I have since booted it up half a dozen or so times over the course of today since I deleted everything and have had zero problems.

I do not know if this is a cure-all or not.I just figured since I didn't have much to lose why not. I also tried downloading save files from the cloud since I am a PS Plus member, that did not fix anything either.

Don't know if it's related to one version or the other, but I bought the retail disc version.

had this happen to me 2 times but I wasent hit as hard as others....some ppl lost there files all together and had to start over only to have it happen again.


I believe somebody said it had to do with the files getting corrupt...which I don't know how that even happens? esp if u delete everything and start from scratch.

when you deleted everything, then did it prompt you to download the tunner again? i think i might just restart the whole thing....seems like the best way to do it.

Yes, the tuner set, the official updated rosters, basically a fresh install.
