Passes to RB near sidelines... can't keep them in bounds??

First off... haven't had a ton of time with the game but in GENERAL, I'm really enjoying it.


However, one thing I've noticed is that whenever my RB is doing something like a wheel route or anything that is supposed to go up the sideline it ALWAYS seems as if he catches the ball and then immediately steps out of bounds regardless of the fact that I'm BEGGING him to slow down and get up field.


It's like his momentum just carries him out of bounds which is a royal PITA!


Anyone else experiencing this??

I've noticed this with out and drag routes from the WRs as well. I completely let off turbo and cut up field before using it again and this has helped me.

let the receiver catch the ball completely without using the left stick and the cpu automatically directs the player up field and then you control the receiver

This is what I do and it seems to work just fine.

You beat me to it. That is the only way I have gotten it to work. This game has a bunch of automation to get use to.
