Does anyone else find it nearly impossible to beat man coverage when throwing a deep route. A perfect example is when I had AJ Green beating Xavier Rhodes by about 5 yards, the ball was placed right in front of AJ Green in stride, but Xavier Rhodes went beast mode and not only made up those 5 yards, but he ran in front of AJ Green to make the interception.

Additionally, it would be nice to be able to throw jump balls that the receiver would actually jump for.

It is all about timing I have figured out. I threw 2 picks early, but when I started throwing as soon as the icon lit up I was making more passes. I think it is a mix of realistic and glitch as I see what they want to do, but in your case, as I have seem, it is impossible for some of these plays to be made.

Try user catching and use the coachstick to see which match up gives you the best chance to complete the deep ball. I complete a couple a game even with Jake Lockers 64 DAC rating...

Yeah, definitely try usering the catches. I have still completely some without (mainly passes where he's clearly beat a press coverage, or splitting the safeties in a cover 2), but i've made some catches on terribly thrown balls by usering the WR infront of the DB and jumping. I feel like you can jump higher this way too.

It is harder this year, if you step into your throw I have found helps a ton.

They have put the focus on yac, which I find more realistic.

You either need a burner or jump ball guy. I've hit one or two go's with Justin Hunter on just lob passes over the top. I actually get more success with guys like Hakeem Nicks who really just leap and snatch it right out of the air.

I have the opposite problem. Pretty much all my TDs for or against me online have been 70 yard touchdowns. Of course I have DeSean Jackson on my team and a poor secondary.

You have to user catch it.Lob throw...click on receiver....speed burst...and catch...simple.
