I press triangle to go up for an INT and the player just stands there but it only does it sometimes. I must be doing something wrong, what do I do to jump for it? This happened to me on 25 too.

It's still triangle for PS4 and Y for XboxOne. There is timing to it though. You can't just push the button and expect him to catch the ball. You have to have the right position to do it.

do you have to strafe?

Depends on the scenario, but if you are backwards strafe can help to get you facing the right direction.

There's a drill in the skills trainer that helps with this. I recommend it.
