Just wanna say thanks for the realistic PUCK PHYSICS in NHL 15

Yes, I see many problems in NHL 15 on my PS4 too.
Like stick going thru the other sticks or legs during dekes, super fast unrealistic tape to tape passing from CPU and myself.

I see warping goalies, looking and playing exactly the same as in NHL 13 (or 14).
I see legacy lastgen animations too and I really hate some of them.
I see unfinished realtime presentation with black fadeouts and freezing frames.
I see the controversy around nextgen NHL game running probably in 720p only.

And yes Im the big presentation guy, but I take the new realistic puck behavior over higher resolution ANYTIME.

So yeah, I just wanna stop by and say thank U developers for taking that risk and invest money and human resources in such fundamentals like puck physics, rather than super smooth 1080p resolution and EASHL (or any other game mode).

P.S. please make the puck even less glued to the stick

It doesn't feel like the puck physics are noticeably different. The puck might behave slightly differently in certain situations, but most of the ridiculous behavior is still there, including pucks popping up off blocker saves, bouncing in corners like a tennis ball, and rocketing off poke checks. I'm not really seeing a difference.

not enough to make me buy the Next Gen version. Still a lot to lose if you make the jump. Hopefully NHL 16 will be a full feature game....

I agree with you Neo, puck physics are great in this game! One of the major improvements compared to last gen.

I haven't seen the tennis ball bouncing once...

Its comments like this that make me wonder if people are like playing the same demo as me, or have even played the demo.

I have to say, I played my first game on true broadcast angle, and the puck physics were that much more noticeable for me. It is a thing of beauty that they finally seemed to have gotten this right...I've seen pucks in the slot hop over sticks, poke checks send the puck into the air, instead of just sliding along the ice, the way the puck ricoches off the players or boards, it all looks 100% better

I agree with you guys about the puck physics being a hell of a lot better. Just can't wait to see what a lil editing and adjusting the sliders will do for this years game. Esp the puck control slider.
