How to use new rosters in connected franchise?

Sorry if this is a basic (stupid) question, but how can I use updated (or downloaded) rosters in connected franchise?

For instance, I'm trying to use the updated rosters that I've already downloaded (former Packers DL Jerel Worthy already on Patriots), but for some reason whenever I start the franchise the rosters always revert back to the default ones (Worthy on Packers roster).

I've loaded the rosters before I start the franchise, and clicked import, but for whatever reason it never works. Is this possible or no?

When you start a new franchise it should ask if you want import a custom roster or use the default. It worked for me, I don't know why its not working for you

"Default" is not the updated roster, it's the shipped one. So say "no" to that and it will load the updated roster.

You're not alone on this. Having the same problem. Will let you know if I come across the fix (searched Google all day, no help)

This scenario isn't possible. You have two options 1. Used default connected franchise roster. 2. Import custom roster.

You have to select one, and no matter which one I select, I end up with the correct roster but the old ratings.

If I make sure my roster is loaded correctly I do have the correct roster but old ratings

Yup I'm having the same issue. If anyone figures it out please let me know.

Tried deleting all my madden files and starting from scratch. No help.
