A "Special" Team (CCM - M25)

Ladies and gentlemen! Let me hit you with something you have never seen before. I'm about to present you a new really "special" type of team, one where kickers, punters and long snappers are actually real players! Led by one of the best special teams players of all time Steve Tasker, who will be the head coach, here are the "Special Teamers"!
This team is composed only by NFL special teamers: kickers, punters and long snappers. The long snappers left their former team, while kickers and punters have been picked up from the free agency market. They will form a new team to prove that special teams is NOT 1/3 of the game, and that the players that play in these three position are REAL football players.
The players took over the former Detroit Lions, who folded after the last season because of the dissapointment that the franchise has brought to the city and the lack of success in the last 50+ years. Players have been released and are now all free agents, except for the kicker and the punter.
So stay tuned, as I'm about to post the entire new roster!

Here are a few rules:
- I cannot sign any players from free agency to improve any position (I could make an exception for some pure kick returner, like Brandon Banks, but I will only use him during returns);
- Injuries are disabled, because I have little to no depth and I cannot afford any injuries at any position;
- I will play on All-Pro, as it's already too difficult, and All-Madden would be impossible;
- No trades;

Preseason week 1

Special Teamers lose 45-12 against the New York Jets!
Zero touchdowns for the home team


The day after...
S. Tasker: I called you because you are the team captains and I want you to help me figure out something to make this team more competitive. I saw that we can run the ball pretty well, but still we most of the time fail to convert downs.

D. Akers: No problem coach, as long as we can get to the opposite 40-yard line, I will put that ball between the uprights!

J. Denney: The only problem is that we can't only kick field goals if the other team keeps scoring touchdowns! We have to get better on the defensive side of the ball and-

C. Henry: Even with that, I don't think that a small improvement will make our defense so good that it'll be able to stop our opponents most of the times.

J. Weeks: But if we have long drives on offense, we can burn a lot of the time, so our opponents will not score that many touchdowns and we'll be able to stay in game.

S. Tasker: Exactly! Don't worry guys, I'll find a way to keep our drives alive, and as for scoring quickly, I know someone that could help us do that in OUR way. *picks up the phone*

S. Tasker: It's getting better guys, come on! I know that's hard but we managed to stop the Browns three or four times, and we also took the lead twice. I know you were tired in those last plays, but that's the effort you have to give if you want to win with this team! Also, I want to say thank you to Brandon Banks for the help he decided to give to this team. Oh, Chas?

C. Henry: Yes coach?

S. Tasker: I want you to start in the next game for all the four quarters.

C. Henry: No problem sir! I will lead this team to victory!
