Week 1 Discussion

It's here.

I know, I know, Texas A&M and South Carolina don't kick off until the 28th, but a week from now Sam Houston State takes on Eastern Washington on the BLOOD FIELD brought to your living room by ESPN. And that's real enough for me. And it's not like jumping the shark is a new idea in CFB.

The Schedule

Re: Week 1 Discussion

Hey now, don't sell EWU and Sam Houston State short. Should be a pretty good matchup. Hope EWU wins. I'm thinking they're the toughest non-conference opponent for UW this year sadly.

Re: Week 1 Discussion

Some solid games week 1. I'm most excited to see Florida's new offense in person. It's been a while since we blew out our week 1 cupcake. Hopefully that changes this year. Opening night should be great, Ole Miss vs Boise St will be the game I pay most attention to. Will also be interested to see what happens with WVU/Bama & Wisky/LSU.

So happy it's finally back.

Really interested to see what Clemson can do this year without boyd and Watkins.

interested to see how Georgia's defense will look after all the offseason mishaps along with Jeremy Pruitt running things.

Re: Week 1 Discussion

Some very intriguing matchups to kick off the season. Of course, the biggest for me is Louisville and Miami on Labor Day night. National television, Black Out, Conference Opener in new ACC....I don't ever remember a bigger opener to the season than what is coming in the next several days.

Brett Hundley is going to be an early Heisman candidate after he tears up my Wahoos next Saturday.
