Better Call Saul

Since Better Call Saul is now a real thing and not just an idea or hopeful dream, it's time we get this thread rolling to discuss the show.

New info is leaking out.

First, this snippet from The Daily News:

That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on ‘Breaking Bad,’ ” he says.

The series has also been pushed back to early 2015 thanks to, well, Gilligan...

The series takes place in 2002. In fact, that's six years (2008) before Breaking Bad. If that's news to you or confusing, it's because it should be.

It would be amazing if this includes Saul's introduction to Mike and Gus.

Good to see Mike on the show and definitely interested in post Walter White era. Just finished the series last week and going through withdrawal.

I thought this was strictly a prequel show. Regardless, could be good.

Side note: I bought a "Better Call Saul" tee-shirt last year off the $6 Shirts site. Not available there any longer.

Looking forward to the post Walter episodes. Hopefully, they can get Jessie in some of those episodes.

So we're going to see scenes with Saul after he isn't "Called Saul", possibly managing a Cinnabon in Omaha?

Probably. Seems that way.

I'm interested in how this matters. Like why would we jump through different time periods in an episode?

I'm guessing we will see how a shady deal from 1993 affected him in 2004.
