Your Favourite RTTS Pitch combo

Just wondering what people tend to favour in RTTS SP pitching repertoires?

Also heard that we can't remove certain pitches. That true?

I usually go with a pretty traditional repertoires. 3 fastalls (4 seem, cutter, 2-seam or sinker), change and a curve.

the most fun I had with a pitcher was completely unrealistic. I submarine lefty with a 100 MPH fast ball and a 67 MPH knuckler. You should have seen the swings I drew.

Re: Your Favourite RTTS Pitch combo

I've always been a fan of a sinking 2SFB, a a disastrous spilt, and even mixing in a good slider. Those three pitches got me 210 K's in my first full year in the majors. I rarely threw 93 mph. Slider wasn't my strikeout pitch, it acted like a cutter and helped me jam left handed hitters. My split was like tanaka's. The 2 Seam was a pitch I aka ways could locate and get strike 1

I've always gone with a 4 seam, change and slider with the change being a strikeout pitch for me. Added a 2 seam and cutter later.

I like to have a sinker or split but I've never had much success with them. Any tips on how and when to throw them? I've always kept the pitches low but I always seem to get smacked with the pitches.

What about a slurve or knuckle curve?

Re: Your Favourite RTTS Pitch combo

For a power arm:

4-seamer, Cutter, Forkball, 12-6 Curve (or sometimes Sweeping Curve), Screwball.

For a knuckleballer:

Knuckleball, Palmball, Sinker or 2-seamer, Knuckle Curve, Screwball

For a finesser:

Vulcan Change (or Palmball), Splitter or Sinker, 12-6 Curve, two of (2-seamer, Cutter, Running Fastball - whichever combo gives me moving fastballs going in and away based on my pitcher's handedness)
