The Adam Carolla Show Podcast.
Just curious on how many of you out there listen to his podcast. Do you subscribe? What do you think of it lately? I have been listening to him shortly after he started his podcast/"pirate ship". It was right at the top of my favorite podcasts to listen to since then. However pretty much the last 6 months I have noticed a definite transition that I don't much care for…. 1.) He is drastically cutting down on his own teams contributions to the show, less prep work by bringing in Matt Atchity for the 'Rotten Tomatoes Game'. Matt does all the work, and Adam and the crew just guess the answer to, kills around 15 minutes per episode it is on. 2.) As Krusty The Klown once uttered…"questions from the audience? Ugh. This is always death." Adam has begun a daily segment of listener questions which again, takes zero effort from him and his team, and again kills around 15 minutes of show time. 3.) If you are a fan of the show, You know which slant the show is beginning to head down. And I don't wish to violate any TOS by mentioning it. But, nonetheless it is a factor. 4.) Enough of Jo Koy! Good grief, he is a weekly guest that does the same bits every single time! To wrap up, the positive is that he is without a doubt one of the quickest, off the cuff comedic talents out there. His old bits of Blah Blah Blog, Nerd/Gay Walking, and Tivo Trivia are terrific, although he rarely does those anymore. I love his team of Alison, and Bryan. His live shows IMO are the best as he usually leaves his political views out of it and just riffs with the crowd and his team. Your thoughts?…
