Crashing recently.

I had never experienced a crash on this game until last night. It actually game after the game was over while I was looking over some stats, which made it suck even more because the game was complete. I re-played the game and went to bed. Well, I just fired the game up now and after I retired the first batter of the inning it happened again. I'm getting an error message (CE-34878-0) and I'm now worried that something is going wrong here. I looked online but didn't find much concrete information about it. Has anyone experienced this? If it happens again right now as I try to play the game again I'm going to be quite concerned.

Some people have been experiencing this in the last week. It's not Just MLB the Show. Other game titles have had crashing problems as well since the firmware update.

Okay, I assume SCEA is aware of the issue and working on it?

Re: Crashing recently.

Unfortunately i have been a victim to this bug for a little while now. I had an offline franchise with the twins and after year 2 i started to get this error message. It was always the 2nd ing and after i got the 1st out. So i looked online and didnt find anything too definitive. I decided to uninstall the show and reinstall it.

That fixed the problem for what i thought was good. I got another season in with no problems. Then the error code showed up again. I did what i had done before and uninstalled the show and reinstalled it. This time it fixed it for about a months worth of the season and it showed up again.

So i searched online again and i found where some sony reps said to reinstall updates for the application and the system software. If that didnt work to save your files to the cloud and then initialize the ps4. I also saw where some people had referenced this to a corrupt save file. Not knowing what to do i wiped my ps4 clean and will have to start completly over from scratch with everything. As i was afraid it may be a save file. Not sure if this will help at all but i had no idea what else to do.

Dang. I hope I don't have to do all that.
