OS Fantasy Football League

I know it's early, and I don't see a post about this for 2014 yet...

Anyone interested in a 10-12 team OS Fantasy League? Initial thoughts on league set up below.

10-12 Teams
Live Auction Draft
Free ESPN league
Roster (QB, 2WR, 2RB, TE, FLEX, K, D/ST, 5BE)
Daily Moves
Scoring (ESPN Standard, PPR is an option)

Looking for dedicated/competitive managers willing to play out the whole season. If things go well, or if everyone is interested right away, we can discuss making it a keeper league.

Post here or send me a PM if you are interested.

Current Teams
1 - BAyers3 (Commish)
2 - Metapod
3 - Twenty Four
4 - knicksfan111
5 - njdevils14
6 - kswgrad2012
7 - Chef Matt
8 - Po1soNNN
9 - mb625
10 - Votto4MVP
11 - Benz87
12 - jack1535

Waiting List
1 - Review (I made a huge mistake and missed him, serious priority!)
2 - RyanLaFalce (Another guy I missed, really sorry)
3 - mpbaseball22

Auction leagues online give you an expected bidding amount and the AI runs the price up for players if not everyone shows up... the "chess vs checkers" analogy is a bit much. If we're talking getting everyone in a room for an auction, then maybe... but there's more strategy in a snake when people are sitting around with their magazines too.

I love auction drafts but I've been hearing this analogy for them alot and it's a bit overblown. It's just different. Both styles are fun and can be equally challenging depending on the group.

I agree it isn't so black and white, but with an auction you have the freedom to shape your team. You don't have that freedom in a snake draft, if you want the #1 player you go get them, if you're the 11th to pick... too bad.

I agree about the auto-bid, which is why I want active members. Whenever I'm in an auction league and someone is on auto I just elect $2-3 guys at the start of the draft and laugh as the auto-bidders jump all over them and fill up their team with junk.
