Getting Boring Playing Same Teams

It seems to me that every year it switches from the AFC East and the AFC South Division my 49ers have to play. When it should be each year we play one division outside our conference a entire division within our conference and two teams in the other two conferences that had the same placement in the division. For example:

If the 49ers were in first place, then they'd play two teams from two different divisions that were also in first place. They'd play the NFC North teams. So that means the other two teams would come from the east and the south. And so every three season they'd play the NFC North. So either the NFC South or East would play them the following season. Is there a way to fix this problem or I just have to deal with it? I know on Madden NFL 10 it had this all figured out.

A team's schedule does rotate through every division every four years. The 49ers played the AFC North in 2011, AFC East in 2012, AFC South in 2013, and plays the AFC West in 2014. I believe 2K5 rotates the schedule as well as it progresses from season to season, although I'm not sure if it's on the same rotation sequence.

In 2004 I played the AFC East. 2005 was the AFC South. 2006 was the AFC East. 2007 is the AFC South.
