2014 NHL Draft

11 Days away, Any big surprises? I think Scherbak goes top 12 and Perlini slides to Columbus at 16.

Re: 2014 NHL Draft

I just want Kevin Fiala to somehow drop to #23. In a more realistic world, would be happy with Ronald McKeown. Hoping Edmonton draft Draisaitl and see him never develop his skating, and busts.

Re: 2014 NHL Draft

I see Florida and NYI trade their 1st rounders, just can't figure out who is going to give them what they want(rumours of this years 1st+good player(1st or 2nd liner)+prospect for top1 overall).

And yeah, Leafs will do somthing weird at the draft, I can smell it.

Re: 2014 NHL Draft

Brendan Lemiux going to the Devils would make me pretty happy.

Re: 2014 NHL Draft

From top10 I don't see Buffalo, Calgary, Vancouver move their picks. Other picks are available, some for trading up(Toronto, Carolina, Winnipeg could move up, but Carolina is pretty unlikely), some are available for good players or lower top10/1st round picks. Especially NYI and Florida seem to me eager to trade it.

Can't wait next weekend.

Re: 2014 NHL Draft

I think NYI will trade their pick to the Jets for Evander Kane if Michael Dal Colle isn't on the board at #5.

Ready to see how Toronto manages to screw this up.
