I made it through my first full season. In the off season I offered contracts to all the players I wanted to keep, and then simmed a few days, and then set the resigning to auto which worked for the most part. My roster is all full except class A, which has like 2 players.

What do you do to fill it, and how necessary is it?

Sign two players, and demote them to single-A once they've joined your organization.
