This could wind up being a pretty loaded thread, the game is absolutely beautiful.

I wish they had follow up punches for standing KO's, would make them look a lot less awkward. Here's a video of a KO I got a little bit ago. I actually just got a flying knee KO as well but I don't have access to my xbox to upload it.

The sound is off on that link a little bit, and it removes the commentary for some reason, but you get the just of it. Of course I stand there and throw random strikes for a few seconds afterwards, which brings me back to the punching after a KO thing, but I'm sure they'll address that in the sequel.

I'll probably contribute another video or 2 to this from demo stuff, and I'll be here a ton after the game comes out. Really enjoying it so far.

Right there with ya. You on xbox or ps4? Could definitely use some friendly competition, cause im sure most of the ranked guys will be spammers lol.

I got one more uploaded through onedrive, when the actual game comes out I'll probably start uploading to youtube, I'm not a huge fan of the resolution or sound issues from this game on onedrive.

Ignore my fail spinning backfist, literally while doing this fight I started thinking that I really wanted to end a fight with it, then I got the opportunity and made a fool of myself instead.

EDIT: Just so everyone knows, I don't spam that elbow to uppercut combo, just happened to end back to back fights with it.

I'm on PS4. Hopefully the parry and sway system will be enough to combat strike spammers. I kind of wish it was like the THQ games where you could counter heavy strikes with takedowns. That doesn't seem to be the case from the demo.

Assuming that you are talking about a human opponent, as long as you don't get hit coming in, you should get a free takedown while someone is spamming strikes because if they are spamming punches they won't be able to easily hit r2+down. AI doesn't have to worry about controller logistics and reaction time but a human opponent will.
