Hit and run, runner always slides

This needs to be fixed, when I hit and run, get a hit, the runner slides into second base everytime, and gets stuck in an animation, and won;t take the extra base, has cost me a few runs now.

Try selecting the runner with the left stick to highlight him, then press the square button to send him to 3rd base. Do it before he goes into his slide animation and you shouldnt have any problems.

Thanks i"ll try this but it still needs to be fixed. Should not have to try and do this fast before he slides.

Don't really have time to do that though.

By the time you know its through and he's safe to advance its too late to select the runner and advance him.

If I see the ball is through and I can make 3rd I immediately hold L1. now I know this is supposed to advance everyone, but if you let go after the guy rounds 2nd and before the batter hits 1st, the batter will not try to stretch it to a double. that should help negate your slides, and works the sames the select and send to 3rd method.

Not saying it shouldnt be fixed, but this is a very viable workaround.

Not sure why I am not seeing this. It would be something I would definitely notice.

Just a guess, but do you use auto sliding? If so that could be the problem
