End of season steal totals

Does anyone know how to increase steal totals?
I have SIM'd a few seasons and have yet to see a leader higher than the 40's.
I'm not saying I'm looking for everyone to be above 40, but a handful (Gordon, Hamilton, etc) should be able to reach 60's IMO.

Just go into the people that you think should be higher and adjust their stealing ratings

I think 40 is pretty good for a lead leader.

Last year most of the leaders were in the 40s except for Elsbery who had 52.

I think 40s is very accurate if you are basing stats over the last three years.
The last time more than one player stole over 50 was 2010

In my first season Jose Reyes had 32 and Eric Young jr had 33 half way through the season.

That would be difficult since Billy has like 99 speed/steal

Erm...not sure what stats you looked at, but Ellsbury had 52 last year. Trout 49 the year before. Bourn 61, and Crisp/Gardner both had 49 in 2011.

Yep 40's isn't far off from real life these days. There are no Rickey Hendersons/Vince Colemans anymore.
