Invisible wall on Tal's Hill at Minute Maid Park
This is something that few if any people have probably noticed until Community Challenges came out in MLB 14, but through some testing I did with Community Challenges in creating scenarios where the ball hits the flagpole and other scenarios where the goal would be to rob a home run on the hill, it turns out that there's actually an invisible wall several feet in front of the wall on the hill. It's actually impossible for the center fielder to complete these challenges because he actually can't get up there. He just collides with the invisible wall and can't proceed to the actual outfield wall.
I imagine that they put this invisible wall there because there were physics issues with a fielder colliding into the flagpole or something, but maybe they'll be able to remove the invisible wall on PS4. (or have they done so already?)
Has anyone had actual games affected by this? I'd assume that a scenario where someone would have to play a fly ball on the hill would be quite rare, and a scenario where someone would have to rob a home run on the hill would be *extremely* rare. I've never seen a scenario like this until I tried out making Community Challenges, so I'm curious if anyone has naturally run into a situation like this in a regular game.
