Fellas,

There's nothing I enjoy more than a little friendly competition! I ran the OS Trophy Standings for a while and enjoyed the rivalry and camaraderie of keeping tabs on who was nabbing the most PS3 trophies.

I think it would be fun to have a little competition based around The Show's "Challenge of the Week". If you aren't familiar with it, the mode basically pits a selected pitcher against a selected hitter (usually guys who had a monster week in the seven days prior). You control the hitter and try to accumulate as many points as possible by stringing together hits, taking balls, and avoiding swinging and missing or taking a strike.

My idea for the OS version of this contest is pretty simple:

Post in this thread letting me know you would like to participate. Include your PSN name.
Send me a friend request on PSN, if we are not already friends. My PSN name is MizzouTigerrr. In the message box for the invite, just type in "OS COTW".
Then, spend each week trying to get the best Challenge of the Week score!
At the end of the week, I will post the participants with the 10 highest scores. First place gets 10 points, second place gets nine points, and so on.
We will continue to do this until the end of the MLB regular season. Whoever has the most total points will be crowned the 2014 OS Challenge of the Week Champion!

Let me know if you are interested, or if you have any questions or ideas.
