Nba 2K14: What happened to the screens?

I've quickly noticed that screens have lost a lot of their efficiency (unless you use players with that cheesy signature skills) in 2K14 and it has hurt the midrange game. Very rarely will you get a decent opportunity at a mid range shot coming off a screen in 2K14. Defenders can really slip through screens this year.

Was it a collateral effect to reducing the off ball bumping to improve the experience in MyCareer?

Also I often see my big set up for a pick and then I come over and he just stops the pick for some reason and just stands there. Mildy infuriating.
